Dr. Bauman is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Kansas City for more than 20 years. He is originally from Oklahoma (and yes, he is a Sooner fan) where he went to medical school. Dr. Bauman completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch prior to moving to Kansas City. He is married and has two children. He enjoys traveling, wind surfing, and reading. His clinical interests include: cataract surgery, diabetic eye care, and oculoplastics (lid rejuvenation and blepharoplasty).
Dr. Bauman sees patients at our Brookside, State Line, and Cass County offices.
Candice A. Law, O.D., M.S.
Dr. Law completed her dual degree as a Doctor of Optometry and Masters of Vision Science at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She served as both a member and Vice President of the Boston Chapter of the International Optometric Honors Society. She completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her continued interest in vision research has led her to give presentations for the American Academy of Optometry and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology since 2005.
Dr. Law sees patients at Brookside Eye Care Center, where she focuses on family eye care (including diabetic exams and ocular disease), contact lenses and low vision.
Amy Ciccio, M.D.
Dr. Amy Ciccio is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas and went on to earn her Medical Degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Kansas Department of Internal Medicine and she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Kansas Department of Ophthalmology. She was also recognized as Chief Resident in 2005.
Dr. Ciccio provides comprehensive services, including routine eye exams, contacts and glasses, cataract consultations, diabetic consultations and more. She currently sees patients at State Line Eye Care Center and Cass County Eye Care Center.
